指揮者のプロムシュテットは給与を殆ど本に費やしたそうで蔵書数が半端ない。しかし死後の寄贈先が決まっているそうだ。羨ましい。僕の蔵書も残された人に迷惑をかけないように考えておかないとなあ。The conductor, ,Blomstedt seems to have spent most of his salary on books, and the number of books in his collection is huge. However, it seems that the donation destination after his death has been decided. Jealous. I have to think about my collection so as not to bother the people left.

東京西部の丘陵に広がる霊園のランドスケープに目を見張る。復活した夏に汗が止まらず献杯のワインも飲みきれず霊園を後にする。篠原研の先輩と帰路をともにした。彼は学生の時の非常勤講師が林昌二だったそうだ。林雅子も、たまに来て同級生だった三人はざっくばらんにエスキスチェックや講評会で言い合いをしていたと言う。お互い言いたいことは言うがリスペクトしていたと言う。こういう友がいたのはお互い幸せだったなと思う。

You will be amazed at the landscape of the cemetery that spreads out in the hills of western Tokyo. In the summer which comes back again, I couldn’t stop sweating and couldn’t drink the toast of wine, so I left the cemetery. I went home with my senior at Shinohara Lab. He said that his part-time lecturer when he was a student was Shoji Hayashi. Masako Hayashi also sometimes show up and he said  that the three classmates who came occasionally had an argument at esquis check and critique. They say they said what they want to say each other, but they respect each other. I think they were happy to have such friends.

楽譜内の文字、forte,piano,allegro ,andanteなどなどこれらはみなイタリア語である。建築同様音楽のメッカはイタリアなのだ。しかし近代の作曲家は自国語を使うそうだ。建築もローマ崇拝はその昔。多極化は文化も政治も同じである。
The letters in the score, forte, piano, allegro, andante, etc. are all Italian. Like architecture, the mecca of music is Italy. However, modern composers use their own language. In the case of Architecture, Roman worship is long ago. Multipolarization is the same in culture and politics.

川島さんに呼ばれて明治の院生スタジオ拝見。京浜島のアートファクトリーという課題。講師は馬場兼信さんと坪井博嗣さん。見たことないビルディングタイプに頑張って取り組んでいた。Mr. Kawashima called me to see the Meiji graduate student studio. The issue is Keihinjima’s art factory. Lecturer are Baba Kanenobu and Tsuboi Hirotsugu. Students were working hard on a building type I had never seen.

コロナよ止まれ、苦労して準備している、スイスで行うシンポジウムと、東京でやるスペイン建築家とのワークショップが無くなったら泣く。
