モード業界では、20世紀はエロスが資本主義を加速して、21世紀はエシックが資本主義を減速していると言う。建築界も似たような言い方が可能だけど、だからこそ20世紀にはエシックスが重要だったし、21世紀こそエロスを忘れてはいけないのだと思う。
In the mode industry, Eros was accelerating capitalism in the 20th century, andethics is slowing capitalism in the 21st century. The architectural world we can say something similar, but that’s why Ethics was important in the 20th century, and I think Eros shouldn’t be forgotten in the 21st century.

菅付雅信はこの本で物はいらないと言うが、近著ではクリエイションは贅沢の創出と言う。そうだと思う。昨日のゼミで必要最小限の小屋を実際に作ると言った学生がいたので、物理的にミニマム、精神的にマキシマムに作ったらどうかとアドバイスした。Masanobu Sugatsuke says that we don’t need anything in this book, but in his recent book, creation is the creation of luxury. I think so. There was a student who said in yesterday’s seminar that he would actually build the minimum required hut, so I advised him to make it physically minimum and spiritually maximum.
