We jumped rope early in the morning and had a JIA editorial meeting at 9 am. The June 15 issue of COVID-19 is unprecedented 40 pages in volume. For lunch, I bought a lamb burger at Lamb Duck Tokyo for take-out in my neighborhood. It’s an outrageous amount of meat for 800 yen.
Two graduate students in my lab came back from their study abroad countries in tears, but both are in Japan and are receiving instruction at their studios via distance learning. In my seminar, One of them introduced such a story of design guidance in Portugal. It’s a monastery renovation assignment, and she said it’s an hour of instruction in ZOOM with red on a drawing. It may be more fulfilling than Japan.

I didn’t eat a lot of rice, but since I’ve been at home longer, I’ve been able to expand my food variety and have more opportunities to eat rice. My family’s rice-bowl was born in 1959, the same year as my spouse and I. It doesn’t look 61 years old and is as beautiful as a newborn.
