県庁所在地方都市行くと地銀の本店や地方新聞の本社がある。徳島行ったら阿波銀行本店が、岡山行ったら山陽新聞本社があり両方とも日建の設計だった。かたや60年代、かたや2000年代デザイン。

If you go to the city where the prefectural office is located, you will find the head office of the regional bank, or regional newspaper. When I went to Tokushima, there was the Awa Bank head office, when I went to Okayama, there was the Sanyo News paper head office, and both were designed by Nikken. One is designed in the 1960s and the other was done in 2000s.

今日は坂牛研恒例のクリスマスエスキス。卒計、修士設計をOBOGがアドバイスするもの。今年は残念ながらzoom開催。自分はマスト出張で船の上、バスの上、空港ロビーと移動しながら発表を聞いた。
Today the annual Christmas esquisse of Sakagyu Lab is taken place by zoom. OBOG advise the thesis projects. I heard the presentation while traveling on a business trip on a ship, on a bus, and airport.

岡山の朝、朝食前にホテルの周りを一回りしたらSANAAの岡山大学Jホールあり。
In the morning in Okayama, before breakfast, I went around the hotel and found SANAA’s Okayama University J Hall.

久しぶりに飛行機に乗り徳島に来た。以前来たのは、風の塔の排気風洞実験を徳島大学の宇都宮教授にしていただいた25年くらい前である。

I took an airplane for the first time in a long time and came to Tokushima. I came before about 25 years ago when Professor Utsunomiya of the University of Tokushima conducted an exhaust wind tunnel experiment on the wind tower on ａｑｕａ line of Tokyo bay.

名前は気をつけよう

クリスマス、年に一度くらい食べたい物だけ食べようと思い、ローストビーフ用和牛、セビッチェ用タコとレモン、デザートのイチゴをジムの帰りに買ってきた。

Xmas I think  I will eat only what I want to eat once a year, so I bought Japanese beef for roast beef, octopus and lemon for ceviche, and strawberry for dessert on my way home from the gym.

毎週日曜日出張で夕食は配偶者にお任せで申し訳ない。そこでお詫びの印に崎陽軒のシューマイを買って帰る。昔ながらの醤油入れは昔のまま。

I feel sorry to leave dinner to my spouse every Sunday because of a business trip. So I bought Kiyoken Shumai as a sign of apology and went home. The old-fashioned soy sauce bowl is the same as it used to be.
