ライゾマティクスの創始者の一人斎藤精一さんにzoomインタビューをした。今東京都現代美術館でやっていることはもう一人の創始者真鍋さん主導。斎藤さんのやっていることは実はライゾマのもう一つの側面で万博とか芸術祭とか東京の地下地上の３Dデーター作りとかこんなこともしているのかと驚くことばかりであった。I had a zoom interview with Seiichi Saito, one of the founders of Rhizomatiks. What they are doing now at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo is led by the other founder, Mr. Manabe. What Mr. Saito is doing is actually another aspect of Rhizomatiks, and I was surprised to learn that he is also involved in things like the Expo, the Art Festival, and the creation of 3D data of Tokyo’s both ground and underground areas.

娘に勧められて読んだが、専門用語が多くてなかなか難しい。僕らの本もこういう風に難しいのだなと反省。分かりやすくて面白かった部分は今利益を出しているアパレルはデザイン変えない定番商品かzaraのように世界のトレンド追いまくるかどっちかだそうだ。My daughter recommended me to read this book, but it was quite difficult because of all the technical terms. I was reminded that our books are also difficult in this way. The part that was interesting and easy to understand was that the apparel that is making a profit nowadays is either a standard product that doesn’t change its design or it follows the world’s trends like ZARA.
