When I unraveled my diary, I created an atelier in Nakano in 1994 to be autonomous from Nikken’s ethics, and discussed there on weekends. I retired four years later.
I have sent the editorial postscript of the November 15 issue of JIA Magazine, and the book has been completed. This month’s “When Architecture is Born” issue is a bird’s-eye view of the “Tsurugane Nursery School / Special Nursing Home Passing Project” by Tsubame Architects. The feature of this design is to expand the area of design to the gaps and surroundings, not to the building itself, and to lay them out with a delicate sense of distance. They had to have such a somewhat diagrammatic bird’s-eye view to show the relationships, not perspective, model, or CG. Their designs always include expanding such a place, and the latest Shimokitazawa bonus track is seamlessly connected to the surrounding residential area.
I received a book by Riser Umeto, which is a must-read for students in UCLA. There is a feeling that the flow of Colombian paperless studios has flowed to the west coast.
Every time I see the election results, I feel empty. And Japan does not change. The days when it was good to stay the same are over, and I ask myself that I must be aware that the things that do not change are causing the country to fall relatively.
Because it’s Corona, I talk to some lab students a week on a zoom. Today I talked to a student just before the exchange program, which was finally lifted. She told me to stop because there was a company that had a flickering informal story about whether to take the exam. Please stop asking M1 students for the temptation. This is clearly a hindrance to education, and the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry should set the rules. If the government accepts this situation, I would like to quit graduate school education because it would be a betrayal to parents.
