すっかり忘れていた編集後記を先ほど送って３月１５日号はもうすぐ校了である。今月の「建築が生まれる時」は北川原温さんのバレエ『One of a kind 』の舞台美術のために描かれたスケッチである。振付家イリ・キリアンが北川原さんの青山の事務所に尋ねてきて依頼されたそうである。その後キリアンからコンセプト文が届き、読み終わってシュールレアリスムの手法である「オートマティスム」（無心に手の赴くままに描く方法）に則って描いたものだそうである。

Choreographer Iri Kirian came to Mr. Kitagawara’s office in Aoyama and asked for it. After that, a concept sentence arrived from Kirian, and after reading it, it was drawn according to the surrealist method “automatism” (a method of drawing with the hands involuntarily).
