投げられたボールが溜まり過ぎて、寝てられなくなった。銀行、支払い、海外、現場、クライアント、原稿、パワポ作り、授業予習、などなど。しかし投げられたボールを全て確認するととりあえずほっとする。半分打ち返したので今日は寝られる。The thrown balls accumulated too much and I couldn’t sleep. Bank, payment, overseas, on-site, client, manuscript, PowerPoint making, class preparation, etc. However, when I check all the thrown balls, I feel relieved for the time being. I hit back halfway so I can sleep today.

『建築の見方』という本を書きたかったが、「もっと長く読まれる入門書を書いて欲しい」と編集長が言っていると担当編集者が拙宅に来て曰う。そこで『建築の見方』は大事にとっておいて、違うことを書くことにした。類書を本棚に探すと芥川也寸志の『音楽の基礎』があった。この新書は2003年の段階で48刷りと言う驚異的な本である。こういう本を書けということですねと担当編集者に聞いたら、頷いた。やれやれ荷が重い。I wanted to write a book called “How to View Architecture,” but the editor in charge came to my house and said that the editor-in-chief said, “I want you to write an introductory book that many people can read for a longer time.” Therefore, I decided to write something different, keeping the “view of architecture” at another chance. When I searched for similar books on the bookshelf, I found Yasushi Akutagawa’s “Basics of Music.” This book is a fantastic book with 48 prints as of 2003. He nodded when I asked the editor in charge if I should write a book like this. The load is heavy
