お金がないのでFujimi hutは10坪足らず、伐採は最小限にして道路近くに配置した。しかしお金があったら20坪にして敷地真ん中に建てたかというとそんなことはない。

日本の建築家が世界で評価されている。というのは大きな誤解だと思う。言葉の通じない珍しい動物として珍獣扱いされているのだと私の海外の友は言っていた。そうなってしまった一番の理由は海外で通じる言葉で自らの建築を世界の文脈で説明してこなかったからだ。今からでも遅くない。大学はそういう教育をしよう！！Japanese architects are recognized around the world. I think that’s a big misunderstanding. My overseas friend told me that they are treated as rare animals because they cannot speak the language understandable. The main reason why this happened is that We have not explained our architecture in the context of the world in terms that are understood overseas. It is not late from now. Universities should teach like that! !
