As is the case with any industry, many speculations and decisions will be repeated when architectural design is made a “profession”. This book is a hint of the decision, the experiences of senior architects.
The senior’s name is Taku Sakaushi. He is an active contemporary architect who has pioneered the times, and also teaches at the Tokyo University of Science. In fact, he is from Nikken Sekkei, one of Japan’s largest organizational design offices.
What should I do to become an architect? Is it realistic to become independent from a company? This is a life reference book that answers the earnest questions of young people who aspire to be architects based on their pioneering experiences.

東大で加藤さん、権藤さん、長谷川さんと勉強会。30年代、40年代を具に見る。やはり政治の季節と感ずる。来月は50年代、60年代。現在まで来るには後4回。
Study session with Mr. Kato, Mr. Gondo and Ms. Hasegawa at the University of Tokyo. Look at the 30’s and 40’s. I feel like it’s political season. Next month we will look at the 50’s and 60’s. Four more times to come to the present.
