銀行の窓口業務はだいたい1時間かかる。なぜこんな単純な仕事にこんな時間がかかるのだろうか毎度不思議でしょうがない。Bank teller operations usually take an hour. I always wonder why such a simple task takes so long. Considering the hourly unit price of bank employees and customers, waste is flowing all over the world. Can we imagine a world without banks?

三年生の集合住居課題

これから翻訳する本の著者オサムからメール。7月8月はバカンスでコンピュータ持たず旅行するから質問は6月中か9月以降にとのこと。2カ月外界を遮断する勇気はないないなあ。これはヨーロッパのデフォルトかなあ？An email from Osamu, the author of the book to be translated. 盟友Osamu Okamura のヨーロッパでの話題の書『みんなの街city for everyone』の翻訳権をやっと獲得できたと鹿島出版界から連絡があった。さあ年内にやってしまおう。
