富士吉田に設計したMt. Fujiジビエ加工センターが昨日落札。The Mt. Fuji Gibier processing center we designed in Fujiyoshida won a bid yesterday.

吉田秀和の半世紀前の復刊を読む。3部構成で、弾く音楽、作る音楽、社会の中の音楽となっている。私の本、見る建築、作る建築、社会の中の建築とよく似ている。音楽と建築は親戚だ。
Read Hidekazu Yoshida’s reissue from half a century ago. It consists of three parts, music to play, music to make, and music in society. It is very similar to my book, architecture to see, architecture to make, and architecture in society. Music and architecture are relatives.

『教養としての建築入門』は昨晩校了。念願の千円を切る本をやっと書きました。加藤耕一さんが論文は誰も読んでくれないと嘆き、講談社現代新書を書いたけど似た気持ち。7月20日発売です。Last night, I was informed that “Introduction to Architecture as Education” was completed. I can finally write a book that cuts 1,000 yen. Koichi Kato once said that no one would read his thesis no matter how much he wrote, and that he wrote Kodansha Gendai Shinsho, I wrote Chuko Shinsho with a similar feeling. It will be released on July 20th.

乗り換え駅で誘惑に負け丸善へ。久しぶりに来たら読みたい本山積み。建築の本も最近は読む。『建築の条件』大分色褪せてる。彩度の高い色は売れない本のカバーに使ってはいけない。At the transfer station, give in to temptation and go to Maruzen. It’s been a long time since I’ve been here, so I found many books I want to read. I become to read books on architecture these days. The cover of the book “Architectural episteme” has largely faded. Don’t use saturated colors on the covers of books that don’t sell.
