At the house Mr.Teshima inviuted me I bumped into Shinseki-san and Kamachi-san, a structural engineer, who were about to request drafting for next year’s graduate school. I would like them to create a unique challenge centered around structure. I asked them to be thorough, as there were many students who would follow them no matter how hard I hit them.
Generation Z refers to young Americans born after the late 1990s. The word eventually came to be used in Japan as well. All students in the laboratory are in this generation. It’s not like there’s anything drastically different from me.
Shiro Kuramata must have been a skillful person. He said he tried not to draw too many sketches so as not to obscure the key points of the design. He thoroughly manifested the essence in a tangible way. I understood a lot after seeing the exhibition. There are only three such extracts that impressed me. A drawer whose size changes in numerical order. glass chair. It’s a rose acrylic chair. Furniture that is not intended to be used is beautiful
In today’s lecture, Toyo Ito said, “I don’t understand why super skyscrapers are being built all over the place, tearing apart the relationship between people and nature?” Is there any reason other than because it makes money? There is no way to be angry at Japan, where architecture is nothing more than an economic act. I agree.
