近代建築史見直し勉強会@東大再開。この本は来夏刊行予定。2.3,4月で掲載作品を決めたい。今1000近くあるのをどうやって絞り込むかを議論した。Modern architectural history review study group @ University of Tokyo reopened. This book is scheduled to be published next summer. We would like to decide on the works to be published in March and April. We discussed how to narrow down the nearly 1,000 available.

半日かけて僕の部屋にあるほとんどの模型を解体廃棄、私物の本3百冊くらい学生部屋に。好きなの持って行って。結構いい本ありますよ。ヴェニスで買ってきたビエンナーレのカタログ、金箱さんにいただいた構造の本、などなど。I spent half a day dismantling most of the models in my room and putting about 300 of my personal books in the student’s room. Take what you like.

坂牛研来年度のキックオフミーティングをした。ウィーン、コペンハーゲンから留学中の学生がズーム参加。4年生7人、社会人4年生２人、修士2年生6人。来年度が最後の年なので修士1年生はいない。10月4日から9日まで神楽坂アユミギャラリーで展覧会をする。研究室のこと、新しい事務所DAのこと、今年出版される４冊の本などお披露目します。皆さん来てください。
We had a kick-off meeting for the next year of Sakaushiken. Students studying abroad from Vienna and Copenhagen participated on Zoom. Seven fourth-year students, two fourth-year adult students, and six second-year master’s students. Since next year is the last year, there is no first-year master’s students. An exhibition will be held at Kagurazaka Ayumi Gallery from October 4th to 9th. We will be unveiling information about our laboratory, our new office, DA, and the four books that will be published this year. Everyone please come.

人のアイデンティティは社会的に確立するものだ。自分が自分はこうだと言っても、周りはあなたはこうだと言い、そこにズレが生まれる。仕方ないから他人が言う自分になりすましているうちにその自分が心地よくなり、いつか他人から押し付けられた事など忘れるものだ。A person’s identity is established socially. Even if you say you are like this, others will say you are like this, and there will be a disconnect. We can’t help it, so while we pretend to be who others say we are, we become comfortable with who we are, and someday we forget that we were forced onto ourselves by others.
