入試監督しながら45年前を思い出す。数物化学英語が二次試験科目だった。一校しか受けなかったからその晩、弾けるように飲みに行き、その日から脳みその構造は理系から文系になった。以来数物の必要性も興味も１ミリもないのだが設計していて困らない。理系のセンス無くして設計はできないがそれは受験勉強レベルで十分なのかもしれない。

While supervising entrance exams, I remember 45 years ago. I took the Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry English exam. I only took exam to one school, so that night I went out drinking, and from that day on my brain structure changed from technology to liberal arts. Since then, I haven’t had the slightest need for or interest in numerical objects, but I had no problem designing architecture. You can’t design without a sense of technology but maybe that’s enough if you have done entrance exam study?
