筑波大学附属高校蹴球部創部100周年記念式典が行われた。母校蹴球部の歴史は日本サッカーの歴史でもある。創部前から蹴球は盛んにおこなわれていたが、「桐陰会」の部として正式に承認されて100周年とのこと。明治期に日本にサッカーが伝わり、東京高等師範学校蹴球部が起点となって全国にサッカーの“種”がまかれた。東京高師附属中学サッカー部史をひもとくと、日常的な“遊び”を組織化し、卒業生が進学先の学校にサッカー部を作り、OBとなっても各界からサッカー界をサポートし続けたようだ。A ceremony commemorating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the University of Tsukuba High School Soccer Club was held.
