平凡社のstandard bookシリーズは20世紀の偉人が名を連ねる。湯川、朝永、寺田、今西などなど、建築家では吉阪だけ。いい文章が多く、自分はまだがきだなと思う。「環境工学」という文章がある。人間は何か便利なものを生み出すと何かを失う、自らを適応させる訓練を怠り、緩和する技術だけに頼るのは人類の誤ちだと。倉方さんの栞がまたいい。

本棚大整理していたらオフクロの大学時代の世界史のノートが出てきた。全ページ万年筆でびっちり書いてある。板書を書いているとは思えない整理されたノートである。When I was sorting out my bookshelf, I came across a world history notebook of my man from my college days. 離れの書斎が欲しいとこの半年くらい思っていたけれど諦めた。今ある書斎を改造する方が現実的である。机の上には執筆中の本に関係する本以外置かないと決めた。文房具を半分捨てた。10箱あった書類クリアボックスは横の本棚に移動した。プリンターを隣の部屋に移動した。これで机の横幅は2m20となった。三つ本の山を作ってもなんとかなる。

友人の家を設計している。リノベである。離れがありそこは書斎。離れの書斎は理想的。Fujimiがあるじゃないかと言われたが、、そうだと思いつつダンボール一箱の資料とともに移動するのは一苦労。3冊の本を並行して書ける3つの机とそれぞれに50冊はいる本棚がある離れが欲しい。近くに空き家ないかな？I’m designing a friend’s house. It’s a renovation.
