英語で言えばannoying な人は誰にだっていて、僕にも数名いる。無視するのも大人気ないから放っておくとたまにやってくる。あるいは突発的に眼前に現れる場合もある。これは交通事故のようなものである。何れも時間の無駄だがら避けて通りたいが、避けられないのが世の中てある。Everyone has someone who is annoying, and I have several people as well. It’s childish to ignore them, so if you leave them alone they will come around sometimes. Or it may suddenly appear right in front of your eyes. This is like a traffic accident. All of these things are a waste of time and I would like to avoid them, but there are things in this world that cannot be avoided.

Kazuo Shinohara’s desire for the extraordinary is similar to this human mechanism. That is why in Shinohara’s architecture, the everyday is always hidden behind the extraordinary.
