Got the email telling another 1000 copies printed. Thanks to the recommendation by Mr. Kadowaki and the title by Mr. Takagi.

ウォーホールが芸術史上に名を残したのは単に工業製品を美術館に並べたからではなく、工業製品を工業製品とは別の次元で理解されるような、提示する側と理解する側の意味の受け渡しの関係を作ったことにある。という説明はそうなのかもしれないと思わせる。

Warhol’s place in art history is not simply because he put industrial products in the museum, but because he created a relationship of transference of meaning between those who present and those who understand, in which industrial products are understood on a different level than industrial products. It is the explanation that makes me think that this might be the case.

気に入ったスケッチブックは10冊単位でまとめ買いする。しかし封がしてあり紙質がわからないと怖くてそんなに買えない。左端はウィーンの郵便貯金局で5冊買ったもの。紙質は厚目だが描きやすく、もっと買えば良かったと思うが、封がしてあり仕方なかった。4月に5冊めを描き終え、5月からは浅草で作ったスケッチブック。髪を選べるスケッチブックで描きやすいがちょっと小さい。

I usually buy 10 sketchbooks I like in bulk. However, if it is sealed and I do not know the quality of the paper, I cannot buy it so much because. On the far left is the one I bought at the Postal Savings Bank in Vienna. The quality of the paper is thick, but it is easy to draw, and I wish I had bought more, but I couldn’t help cause it was sealed.  I finished drawing the 5th book in April, and from May I use a sketchbook I made in Asakusa. It’s easy to draw with a sketchbook where I can choose  paper, but it’s a little small
