When I get on the Shinkansen from Nagano, I steel feel depressed because I remember the harsh commuting of Shinshu University. It is a trauma.

出張先で入ったお店が隈さん改修、らしい。カーボンブレース。

It seems that the shop we entered on a business trip was renovated by Mr. Kuma. Carbon brace is nice.

ギターはオブジェとして美しい。ル•コルビュジエが頻繁に絵画や家具の題材にした気持ちが分かる。

The guitar is beautiful as an object. You can see why Le Corbusier often used it as the paintings and furniture subject.

出身中高がプロジェクターも買えないと悲鳴をあげたので寄付をした。すると母体の大学長から高そうな紙で御礼が来た。ありがたいがメールでいい。この費用も中高の予算に回して欲しい。
I made a donation because my junior and senior high school screamed that they couldn’t buy a projector. Then, a thank-you letter came from her mother’s university president with a paper that seemed to be expensive. Thank you, but email is fine. I want them to spend even this cost on a middle and high school budget.

日建と日本設計の立派な社報誌を見るにつけ、両社はなんでもできると感心する。一方、表紙がなければどっちがどっちか分からなくなる。

Looking at the excellent newsletters of Nihon Sekkei and Nikken Sekkei, I am impressed that both companies can do anything. On the other hand, if you don’t have a cover, you won’t know which is which.

日建から季節ごとに送られてくる立派な社報に研究室OG本田の担当建物が掲載させていた。これに載るのは然るべき建物。そんな建物を竣工させたと思うと喜ばしい。

The building in charge of Laboratory OG Honda was published in the splendid company newsletter sent from Nikken every season. It is a proper building to be listed here. I am happy to think that such a building was completed by her.
