富士道の駅実施図面最後のチェック。夕方、Fuji Textile Week を覗く。ぼくらの設計したFujihimuro も会場で地元で織られた布を使った作品が見事。The last check of the Fuji Road station implementation drawing. In the evening, took a peek at Fuji Textile Week. Fujihimuro, which we designed, also has a wonderful work using locally woven cloth at the venue.

先日シンゴジラのよくできた模型を見た。あの映画を見た時、最初に自分の設計した東京湾横断道路の風の塔が現れた。ああ踏み潰されるのかと思ったが、そうはならなかった。
The other day I saw a well-made model of Shin Godzilla. When I saw that movie, the wind tower of the Tokyo Bay Crossing Road that I designed first appeared. I thought it would be trampled, but it survived.

篠原聡子さんから20年来のアジアコモンズ調査をまとめた書をいただく。重みがある。渡邊大志さんからフィンランド、ドイツでの展覧会をまとめた書をいただく。渡邊さんが著した東京湾の倉庫の布置(博士論文)研究は書籍化され読んだがとても面白いものだった。その彼がまたこんなこともやるのかと驚きである。

Satoko Shinohara sent me a book summarizing the 20-year-old Asian Commons survey. There is a weight. Mr. Taishi Watanabe sent me a book summarizing his exhibitions in Finland and Germany. Mr. Watanabe’s research on the placement of a warehouse in Tokyo Bay (doctoral dissertation) was made into a book and read, it was very interesting. I’m surprised that his wide range of activity.

某ゼネコンの役員に聞いた。これから日本の建設需要が減って会社を小さくしますか？と。答えは小さくしない。都市開発は減らない。世界にはまだニーズがあると言う理由から。よってその会社の社長は二期連続開発の人だそうだ。これは組織事務所も同じ。日建の社長も都市開発の人になったのは同じ思惑からである。I asked an officer of a general contractor. Will the construction demand in Japan decrease and the company become smaller? When. The answer is not small. He said  urban development does not decrease and  there are still needs in the world. Therefore, the president of the company have been a person who were in charge of urban develops for two consecutive terms. This is the same for large architectural firm.  The president of Nikken also became a person of urban development due to the same reason.

大学院一年生の製図プログラム、西澤徹夫さんによる美術館の次は、ディエゴグラスによる墓碑(死者の記念碑)である。1週間毎日チリからズーム指導。墓碑の対象は、常山さん、山道さん、藤村さん。生きている人対象に死後の記念碑を考える。講評会には御三方も出席できるといいのだが。

Next to the museum by Tetsuo Nishizawa, a design program for first-year graduate students, is a cenotaph (a monument to the dead) by Diego Grass which is Zoom instruction from Chile every day for a week. The targets of the cenotaph are Ms. Tsuneyama, Mr. Sando, and Mr. Fujimura. Think of a cenotaph for a living person. I hope all three can attend the final critique.

Architectural examination every week from the week before last. Today I met a great rain gutter joint. If it is painted red, it is a sculpture of Kyubee Kiyomizu.

Lynda Gratton’s life shift is selling worldwide. She explains that the 100-year life is not a three-stage way of learning, working, and retiring. You should live in a multi-stage of learning, exploration, independence, and multiple activities. To do so, invest in intangible assets (productivity, vitality, transformation). Just meet my thoughts.
