未だにメールの宛名に牛坂と書く方がいる。のは坂牛より牛坂の方がよく聞く名前だからか？麻布に牛坂があるのを教えてくれたのはｷﾄﾞｻｷﾅｷﾞｻさん近所にもあることを教えてくれたたのは近所に住む安井さん。

There is a person who still writes “Ushizaka” in the address of the mail. Is it because the name “Ushizaka” is heard more often than “Sakaushi”? The person who told me that there was a Ushizaka in Azabu was Kido Sanakinagisa, and the person who said to me that there is also a Ushizaka in my neighborhood was Yasui, who lives in my community.

博士ゼミは社会人に合わせて夜やっていた。しかし終わるのが遅くなるから日曜日にした。でも日曜日仕事の人もいるからやっぱり夕方。ゼミ前に夕食を作った。スペインオムレツ、ペペロンチーノ、ナスサバ、ハムミョウガサラダ。

ジェフリー・スコットは『人間主義の建築』の中で建築美を作るのは「量塊」「空間」「線」と述べた。その後ヒッチコッックとフィリップ・ジョンソンは『インターナショナル・スタイル』で「量塊」を否定してその代わりに「ヴォリューム」を新しい建築に不可欠なものとした。そして隈研吾は『点・線・面』で「ヴォリューム」を解体して「点」「線」「面」にすると主張した。

Geoffrey Scott, in Architecture of Humanism, said that it is the ” mass,” “space,” and “line” that make architectural beauty. Later, in International Style, Hitchcock and Philip Johnson rejected the “volume” and instead made the “volume” an integral part of the new architecture. In Point, Line, and Plane, Kengo Kuma claimed to dismantle the volume to make it a point, a line, and a plane.

配偶者かパルスオキシメーターの必要性を力説するので買って測ってみたら97だった。95になるとまずいらしい。

1週間ぶりに晴れて気持ちいい。入江先生の傑作漱石山房へ、

夕方まで翻訳zoom。その後レポートへのフィードバックズームを学生とした。７時になって腹ペコで今晩はテイクアウト。家で作れないものにしようと思ったら寿司になった。

I did translation work in the afternoon through zoom. Then I did feedback to the students about their homework report. It was 7 o’clock when I got hungry. I decided to buy something to eat- resulting in what I couldn’t cook at home was Sushi.

今朝散歩は赤城神社でお祈り。This morning I took a walk to Akagi shrine and prayed.
