practice and theory
Infection clinicians in the U.S. have pointed out that the situation in Norway, which has urban blockades, and Sweden, which does not, are almost identical in terms of infection, and that there is a vast difference in economic conditions.
They point out the fallacy in the logic of the pundits who support the blockade with their descriptive arguments without clinical experience. Of course, they will also give you a warning and various measures, but they assure you that there is no need for a complete blockade or stay home.
The doctoral dissertation written by the American educator I’m currently reviewing raises the issue of the disconnect between architectural practice and logic. I believe that practice and philosophy must always run in parallel. Therefore it is necessary to listen to both the opinion of the clinician and that of the non-clinical researcher.
