This month’s “When Architecture is Born” is a small model by Hideyuki Nakayama, who won this year’s JIA New Designer Award. This model, which was the prototype of the proposal, was made from scrap styrofoam and has no walls in the middle of the three roofs, but looks also bridge structure. It is a strange experience that changes what we see according to the perceptual attitude of the viewer.
