Kaoru Kojima, a former curator who now teaches at the university, said on FB that she read it all at once. I couldn’t help but read it. It was very informative. As the author said, I now understand why Japanese exhibitions are hosted by the mass media. As I expected, it’s an excellent book. I am convinced that a solo exhibition is more challenging to plan and produce than a show of ◯◯museum which is well known. I was glad to see that the author also listed the National Museum of Modern Art as one of the best museums in Japan. This is the museum that has become the easiest to visit on the East-West line since I moved here.
