博士ゼミ
大村の時は博士ゼミを2年目から週2回やり2年で論文3本書いた。週2回やったのは1年目は彼が設計事務所で働き研究に時間をかけられなかったから。2年目から設計禁止を言い渡しネジを巻き直しさらに研究方法を定性的なものから定量的なものへ切り替えた。しかるに現在は社会人が多くゼミは2週に1回。指導密度は4分の1、だからと言って進捗速度が4分の1になっているとは言えないが、細かいところに目が行き届かないのは事実。やれやれ
When I taught Omura, I did a doctoral seminar twice a week from the second year and he wrote three treatises in two years. I did it twice a week because he worked in a design office for the first year and couldn’t spend time on his research. From the second year he declared a design ban, rewound the screws, and switched his research method from qualitative to quantitative. However, there are many working people now, and seminars are held once every two weeks. The instruction density is one-fourth, which does not mean that the progress speed is one-fourth, but it is a fact that we cannot pay attention to the details. Good grief
