才能

芸大卒業生へのインタビューが面白い。「やりたいことをできる環境に自分を置くことが才能」と言っている人がいたがその通りだと思う。金や名誉を得ることも才能なのだがあまり意味のない才能である。

This book has interesting interviews with art school graduates. One of them said, “To put yourself in an environment where you can do what you want to do is a talent,” and I think he is right. Getting money and honors is also a talent but not a very meaningful talent.
