翻訳文化

明治に日本が翻訳主義（原語ではなく翻訳して西洋文化を吸収する方策）をとれたのは日本が西欧列強に占領されることがなかったから。そして日本が世界にすぐに追いつけたのは日本語で学べたから。そして翻訳が上手だったのは徳川時代が漢文翻訳文化があったから。色々な偶然が重なり日本の今がある。しかるに現在未だに翻訳主義なのはどうしたものかと思わないでも無い。旧制高校は原語で学ぶ風潮があったがそれも昔、今や翻訳でさえ学ばないこの国の不勉強は
