制作と受容
東大の教え子の中で、一緒に勉強会や翻訳をした連中は教員になった人が多い。星野太君は母校に戻った。まとまった時間ができたので送ってくれた美学の本を読んでみた。崇高、関係、生命とどれもぼくの興味の中心である。
制作者の僕にとって美学を学ぶのは制作の切り口を探すため。一方受容者である彼らにとっての美学は新たな受容の道筋を模索なのだが、それは場合によっては新たな制作の目標の受容者側からの提示でもある。しかし彼らは新しい美学を作るために新しい制作を見て回っている。概念で完結せず、感性を働かせている。制作と受容は常に表裏一体なのである。
Many of the students at the University of Tokyo who did study sessions and translations together became teachers. Futoshi Hoshino has returned to his alma mater. Since I had a lot of time in the hospital, I read the aesthetics book he sent me. His topics are of my interest which are sublime, relationships and life.
For me as a creator, learning aesthetics is to find a way to create it. On the other hand, aesthetics for them, who are recipients, seeks new ways of acceptance, but in some cases it is also a presentation from the recipient side of new production goals. But they are looking around for new productions to create new aesthetics. It is not complete with just a concept, but it exercises sensibility. Production and acceptance are always two sides of the same coin.
