八束はじめ

八束さんは東工大の磯崎スタジオのエスキスチェックに来られて、出てくる案出てくる案、これは何時の誰の案の焼き直しだと切り捨て、その知識量に愕然とした。その前だったか後だったか覚えていないが、磯崎アトリエにバイトに行きMOCAのアクソメを描いたら、八束さんがポップな色で素敵に仕上げていたのを思い出す。建築界の知の巨人が金子さんのナビゲーションで鮮明に浮き上がる。
Mr. Yatsuka came to the esquis check of Isozaki Studio of Tokyo Institute of Technology and criticized the idea that came out, he said the pointed out the origin of each idea. We were surprised at his great amout of knowledge. I don’t remember whether it was before or after that, but when I went to the Isozaki atelier to work part-time and drew MOCA’s Axonometric, I remember Mr. Yatsuka finishing it nicely with pop colors. Mr. Kaneko’s navigation clearly highlights the intellectual giant of the architectural world.
