音盤考現学

先日松室さんに教えていただいた、片山杜秀の『音盤考現学』を一気に読んだ。『レコード芸術』四年間連載したCD批評５０回分をまとめた本である。吉田秀和賞とサントリー学芸賞をダブル受賞したのでどんなに凄い本かと期待して読んで期待通りだった。音楽を音楽を取り巻く社会の中で解き明かす語り口はとても私好み。もちろん一気に家で読んだのは毎回出てくる音楽をyou tubeで聞くためで、現代音楽の耳の勉強にももちろんなる。

I have read Katayama Morihide’s Onban Kogengaku, which Mr. Matsumuro taught me the other day. This book summarizes 50 CD criticisms serialized for four years in Record Geijutsu by him. It won both the Hidekazu Yoshida Prize and the Suntory Prize for Arts and Sciences, so I expected it to be a great book, and it was what I expected. I like the narrative that interprets music in the society surrounding it. Of course, I read all at once at home so that I could listen to the music that came out every time on youtube, and of course, it would also help me learn how to listen to contemporary music.
