When I talk about the history of modern architecture with Mr. Gondo, Mr. Kato, and Ms. Hasegawa, I realize that the source of their knowledge is professor Suzuki, Namba, and Uchida. Of course, there are probably others as well, but Dr. Suzuki has often said this. That’s what they said. It goes without saying that Tokyo Tech School has had a big influence on me as well. Knowledge is reproduced. If there were people from Waseda here, I’m sure a different topic and discussion would emerge. It makes sense that, as Wigley says in “White Walls,” history is born out of coincidences and balances of power.
