I tried writing the introduction to Shinohara’s book, but Mr. Kawajiri advised me not to make it an homage to Shinohara. I know this, but it’s ingrained in me, so if I’m not careful, Shinohara will automatically become a great architect. While I was trying to cool my head for a while, I received an email that raised the bar, saying that “World Architectural History” had been approved with great expectations at a board meeting of the Chuko company. I thought it would be a good idea to do some other writings to clear my head, so I put about 20 books in my suitcase and left the house. On my way to university, I realized that I had forgotten my proofread copy of City for Everyone. Even though I declared that I would return it at the beginning of the year and write a commentary on it. After I finished my last class of the year in the morning, two students came to me and asked me to do an international workshop during spring break. I immediately emailed Alberto from Madrid, who came to the Tokyo University of Science the other day, asking if I would do it. This is the end of this year’s school work.I will go to Fujimi.
