I came to listen to the final lecture by my academic elder colleague, Mr. Tanehisa Otabe. Mr. Otabe was the one who asked me to teach at his school for him for the first time after quitting Nikken, and the lecture notes became the backbone of my doctoral thesis, and he facilitated the publication of my first book, “Rules of Architecture.” was born. Together with my students there, I began a translation series starting with “Words and Buildings.” Most of my brain was refined by him. He has been a musical friend since elementary school, having had the same violin teacher.
