5月24日に青山のconsenting cityという場所でお話しします。長持ちする建築は何かという問いをもらっているのですが、それはしみじみと感じ入る建築だろうと思います。建築以外のものも皆同じです。飽きたら捨てたくなるようなものと、ずっと持っていたくなる、捨てたくないものの差はそこに気持ちが入っていけるかどうかですよね。
I will be giving a talk on May 24th at a place called Consenting City in Aoyama. I’ve been asked what kind of architecture is long-lasting, and I think it’s architecture that you can deeply feel. The same goes for everything other than architecture. The difference between something that you want to throw away when you get tired of it, and something that you want to keep forever and don’t want to throw away is whether you can put your heart into it
