Taku Sakaushi

最近は僕も配偶者も寝る寸前まで仕事に追われて二人で疲弊中。酒も飲めず、、やれやれ。Recently, my spouse and I are both exhausted from being busy with production until just before we go to sleep.

江古田、大泉学園、バーゼル、ロサンゼルス、早稲田、方南町、下高井戸、四谷三丁目、赤坂、神楽坂。生まれてから1か月以上住んだことのある町。この中で素敵な、文化的な本屋があった町はバーゼル、ロサンゼルス、早稲田、神楽坂。いい本屋がある町は民度が高いと思う。Ekoda, Oizumi Gakuen, Basel, Los Angeles, Waseda, Honancho, Shimotakaido, Yotsuya Sanchome, Akasaka, and Kagurazaka. A town where I have lived for more than a month since I was born. The towns with nice, cultural bookstores are Basel, Los Angeles, Waseda, and Kagurazaka. I think that towns with good bookstores have a high standard of culture.

今日で10冊めの原稿用紙が終わった。まる3年。1日200字1080日。約20万字。立派な本１冊分。読み返してみたくもならないし。何のために書いてるのだろう？自分でも不思議。I finished the 10th manuscript paper today. 3 whole years. 200 characters a day, 1080 days. About 200,000 characters. The bole is the same as that of one fine book. I don’t even want to read it again. What are you writing for? I wonder myself.

東北大で藤野さんと合同ゼミやろうと話していたら、高碕で藤野さんの建物見ようということになり、それなら若松を前橋から呼ぼうと発展。日にちを決めたら小野田研が前日関東にいるので参加したいとさらに発展。海の日に4研究室合同ゼミとなった。When we were talking about doing a joint seminar with Mr. Fujino at Tohoku University, we decided to visit Mr. Fujino’s building in Takasaki. In that case, it developed to call Wakamatsu from Maebashi. When I decided on a date, Onoda Lab was in Kanto the day before, so he wanted to participate. It was a joint seminar of four laboratories on Marine Day.
