4月から開始する新インタビューシリーズ「可能性としての建築家」が建築家クラブで始まった。若い建築家7人、学生7人呼んでインタビュー後長めの質疑応答をする。第一回目は日建設計の亀井忠夫さん。毎回テーマがあり今回は「合理」。亀井忠夫さんの学生時代からペン留学、入社からのほぼ全作品を見ながら日建合理主義を抉った。質問も冴えていた。JIAマガジン4月15日号をご期待ください。次回は手嶋保さんテーマはクラフツマンシップである。A new interview series “Architects as Possibilities” starting in April has started at the Architect Club. We called 7 young architects and 7 students and had a long question-and-answer session after the interview. The first is Mr. Tadao Kamei of Nikken Sekkei. There is a theme every time, and this time it is “reasonable”. From Tadao Kamei’s student days, he went to Penn to study abroad. While watching almost all works since joining the company, Nikken’s rationalism was scooped out. Audience’s question was also clear. だいぶ前に木島さんからFujimi Hut の竣工祝いに素敵な長いホウキをいただいた。今度行くときに宅急便で送ろうと思い長い箱はとっておいた。昨日ホウキを送るために箱に入れようとしたら中にまだ何か入っているではないか。小さなホウキとチリトリ。こちらは神楽坂で使います。ありがとう！A month ago, Mr. Kijima gave me a nice long broom to celebrate the completion of Fujimi Hut. I kept the long box with the intention of sending it by courier next time I go. When I tried to put the broom in the box to send it yesterday, there was still something inside. A small broom and a dustpan. I will use them in Kagurazaka. thank you!

練窓の家No.3は雑誌2誌に掲載していただいたが、なんと竣工写真撮ってないことに気がついた。今まで自著に使ってこなかったから気が付かなかった。今回編集者が練窓の家1,2,3皆載せましょうと言われ雑誌スキャンをあて、いつか撮りに行こうと思っていたが時間切れ。クライアントにとってもらった今と数年前、どちらか使う。House with ribbon window No.3 was published in two magazines, but I noticed that there were no photos of the completed house. I hadn’t used it in my own writing before, so I didn’t notice. This time, the editor asked me to include all of houses with ribbon window1, 2, and 3. I scanned the magazines, and thought I’d go take some pictures someday, but I ran out of time. I use either now or a few years ago when I got it from a client.

『会社を辞めて建築家になった』（フリックスタジオ）はなんとかゴール寸前。周回遅れで原稿書いている『教養としての建築入門』（中公新書）は編集者が忙しくチェックが滞っていたのでのんびり構えていたら、突如4月15日脱稿しましょうとスラックにメッセージ。編集者はみなこうなんだよね、マイペース。”becoming an architect after my corporate career” (Flick Studio) is just about to finish. However, when the design and layout of the book were decided and they wanted to reduce the number of pages, this picture appeared. Amazing!

論文博士を目指す金沢君の黄表紙論文が採用となった。これは朗報！！なかなか難産だったけどやっとここまできた。篠原論である。大村君が構成、空間、構造、視距離を問題にしたのに対して、金沢君は篠原の博士論文のテーマである分割と連結を下敷きに分割面の特性を分析、2本目は分割面を境にした空間性の差異を問題にして3末投稿。来冬の審査にかけて来春修了（希望）。後が詰まっているので頑張って。

Mr. Kanazawa’s paper for AIJ journal was accepted. Good news! ! It was quite a difficult birth, but he finally made it this far. This is Shinohara’s theory.
