On April 3, 2022
by 卓 坂牛

Antonio Negri and Michael Hardt called the state an “empire”, saying that the world was not dominated by the hegemony of a single nation, but by a decentralized network. And the majority as a democratic means to counter it was called “multitude”. 17 years after the empire was published, “Assembly” was written, which depicts the effective way of gathering the multitude. The Japanese translation came out this year. Politically from vertical leadership to horizontal decision-making and vertical support. Economically starting a business by multitude. it is a very clear methodology. It is inevitable that weak small design offices will be assembled so as not to lose to capitalist design offices, and it will be a healthy future for Japan.

Author Kazuhiro Fujiwara quit Recruit full-time employee at 41 and became the junior high school president who was recruiting at that time at 47. I quit Nikken at 38 and became a faculty member at the university when I was 46. The behavior is quite similar. He denies the old idea that life climbs a large mountain and descends it in old age. Instead, he explains that there are many mountains. The former is Mt. Fuji type and the latter is Yatsugatake type. I think so at all. I don’t know if it will work, but I will start another life from 65 and I think it’s a preparation period until then.

I was shown the house designed by Mr. Shioiri of ShindaiSAKAUSHI lab. and Mr. Yazaki of Muroran Institute of Technology Yamada Lab. Various elements were dancing horizontally and vertically. I felt the development that was not the mere skip floor.
