Taku Sakaushi

この本は数あるファッション本の中では１、２を争う面白さである。その理由はファッションを性との関係で分析し、ファッションに性差が生まれた歴史と背景、作る側の性差を明らかにしているところにある。

その昔男女は同じ服を着ていたのが新古典主義の時代から男はスーツを着るようになった。そのイメージは鎧だった。女性服は古来大きな変革をすることなく表面の装飾に終始した、一方男性服は上記の革命を起こしフォルムの変化を生んだ。以来「男性のための格式高いテイラリングと女性のための軽薄な「ファッション」は分化し、それは１９世紀に極限に達した」と書かれている。これを聞くと、僕らが翻訳した白い壁でなぜ２０世紀初頭、ギーディオンたちが建築をファッションに堕することを極度に嫌ったか、その背景が見えてくるのである。

This book is one of the most exciting fashion books of all time. This is because it analyses fashion about gender, revealing the history and background of gender differences in style and the gender differences in the people who make it.

In the past, men and women wore the same clothes, but men began to wear suits from the time of neoclassicism. The image was that of armor. 豆腐皮という食品がある、簡単に言えばゆばの厚いやつである（と思う）。業務用スーパーで安く売っている。これにコンソメの粉末をかけてレンジで10分くらいチンすれば、カリカリのスナックになる。おやつにプロテインはいかが。

CADが実用化された時、林昌二は消しゴムで消す必要がないからいいと言っていた。いや本当に消しゴムのカスには悩まされる。家中あちこちに消しかすが飛び散る。ベッドに消しかすは勘弁ということで枕元にiPad、明けがたの貴重な思いつきをメモる。しかし起きてスケールを入れるて成り立っていたいこと度々。
