On June 2, 2021
by 卓 坂牛

Takeshi Hagiwara from Waseda visited home and gave me a collection of his works. I looked at page 1 and page 1 together. From the architecture of the Takenaka era to the houses after moving to Waseda, the Hagiwara style (or Ikehara style or Takenaka style) is made with wonderful details and materiality. He has been a good friend since we started being architect. I am looking forward to seeing him to make more beautiful architecture.

The cover of my spouse’s favorite neighborhood book cafe “Kamome Books” is wonderful. I didn’t know it because I hadn’t had the book covered for a long time.

On June 1, 2021
by 卓 坂牛

I read it after being recommended by my daughter. It is a book that is likely to sell 700,000 copies. I will explain the patterns of people’s beliefs by classifying them into 10. And it’s easy to see that bad journalism still uses this belief to enhance news. Presenting shocking numbers without relativization, the technique is close to fraud.

On May 31, 2021

I talked about the monograph published in February at the OBOG meeting. However, it was long, so I asked the participants to choose the works they especially wanted to hear. The top three were Pine Gallery, Yama, and the Yellow Tea Room. It is a group of buildings with distinctive colors and diagonals.
