Next pleasure

On February 15, 2021

The male lion’s mane is said to be for species preservation, not to protect the neck but to attract females. Given that the essence of decoration is there, it is Wigley who defends contemporary covered architecture. However, what attracts both humans and animals does not have to be flashy or rugged. Look at the simplified Chanel suit. The point is whether or not you can feel the “pleasure” that Kant calls. So Wigley explains that modernism did not lose his mane, but that he wore a white Chanel suit. But the problem is how long the Chanel suit is valid. Architecture is also fashion, and it seems to me that We are waiting for the next pleasure = dress.

We enjoyed the chocolate that my spouse had received from my daughter. It’s like a 2 dimensional composition textbook.

Many of Office buildings in New York have square plane and center cores. That is because the site is square. On the other hand, the site of an office building in Tokyo is not always square, so they adjusted it using a core to make it sit on the site. The beginning is the Palace Side Building. It is the wisdom of Shoji Hayashi. However, after that, square buildings are crowded in Tokyo. We are currently investigating the reason. Probably one of the causes is the open space system, and it is speculated that the deformed part of the site was made into a public space to get the volume. It is hypothesized that this system would eliminate the need for architects to adapt the architecture to the site.

On February 13, 2021
by 卓 坂牛

The reason why people say that housing is the foundation of architecture is not in the sense that there is much to learn about housing as teaching material for beginners. It is in the sense that Schopenhauer said, “The task of the novelist is not to tell a great story, but to make people pay attention to a small one. The architect’s mission is not to create large buildings but to make people pay attention to small ones.

Wake up in the morning and wash my mouth and hands. After corona came the number of gern in the body is decreasing and it is likely to become a sterile human being. Is this right?
