Taku Sakaushi

配偶者はテレビに向かってよく怒っている。車の自動運転、携帯の新サービス、Paypayなどありとあらゆる生活関連のイノベーションに「こんなことが生活を豊かにするわけはない、くだらない」と吐き捨てる。資本主義はイノベーションをして特別剰余価値を生まないと瓦解するからやらざるを得ない。だから生活は後付けなのである。しかし消費者はころっと騙されて乗り遅れないように頑張る。会社や大学のシステムしかり。やたらとIT化したがる。それが社会の進化だと国が決めたから仕方ない。そしてそれが社会を豊かにするという幻想を抱かせ、それについていけない人間はリテラシーがないとしてその商品価値を低く見積もられることになる。豊かさには種類があるし生き方や、価値観も多様なのである。本当のリテラシーはそういう多様性を許容することなのだ。

There is no help for it because the government has decided that it is the evolution of society. And it creates the illusion that it enriches society, and people who can not keep up with it will be underestimated as their product value because they have no literacy. But I think there are different types of richness, and different ways of living and different values. True literacy is to allow such diversity.

安直に独占資本に能力を売るなかれ

『武器としての「資本論」』は何よりも先ず学生たちが読まねばならない本である。FBで布野修二さんも勧めていたと思う。資本制にますます包摂され、そしてそのことに気づかずに、解決策があるかの如く騙され、原理的にありえない輝かしい未来をチラつかせる政府の嘘に若者は気づかないといけない。そして建築においてもますます商品化されて資本制に取り込まれる状況を普通のことだと思うべきではない。それを阻止できるのは知識と感性である。知識は学ばなけれ身につかない。まず読んで欲しい。

Capital as a Weapon is, first and foremost, a book that students must read, as recommended by Shuji Funo on FB. Young people need to be aware of a government’s lies that is increasingly subsumed by the capitalist system. Without realizing it, young people are deceived into believing that it has a solution and is hinting at a bright future principle impossible. And even in architecture, the situation of increasing commodification and capitalization should not be taken as usual. It is knowledge and sensibility that can stop this from happening. You cannot acquire knowledge unless you learn it. I want you to read it first.

次に出す本は僕のモノグラフで予定より1年遅れでやっとデザイナーのレイアウトが始まった。TCcuadernosというこのモノグラフのシリーズは最近マテウスのも出た。そこに並んで出していただけるのは光栄である。今朝編集者からテキストは日本語も入れないか？とメールが来た。この出版社はバレンシアなのでもともと完全バイリンガルなのだが、、トリリンガルの本は見たことがない。でも日本で売るならそれもいいかも。
The next book is my monograph, and one year later than planned, the layout of the designer finally started. This series of monographs called TCcuadernos recently Mateus came out. 今日の２.５時間設計の場所は内幸町。僕が今から３５年前に日建で最初に設計した日比谷ダイビル（２０階建３万平米）の敷地にオルターナティブを設計せよというもの。リアルでヴィジョナリーな案３つ。

今度作る本に富士吉田の経験(Fuji yoshida experience)という章がある。そこに富士吉田の仲間であるTさんに文章を書いて欲しく、寄稿を依頼したらものの２日間で1000字の原稿が送られてきた。梅ヶ丘のカフェでコーヒーを飲みながらIPHONEの画面に映る彼のメッセージを読んだ「・・日本の風景が画一化したと言われて久しい・・私が暮らす富士吉田市でも状況は同じであり、きつ然とそびえたつ富士山を前に忸怩たる思いでいる・・・その地方都市の中で、坂牛氏と坂牛研究室による建築は心を震わせてくれる・・・坂牛氏と坂牛研究室との出会いは、古びた製氷工場のリノベーションだった・・・無価値とされていた場所で市長主催によるコンペティションが行われ・・・多くの建築家の提案の中で最も瑞々しく感じた・・・町の工務店として坂牛研究室のスタッフ、学生と仕事をすることが多い。彼らは常に実直であり、探求することをやめない・・・彼らのデザインは表面的ではなく、そこに集う人と暮らしまでデザインする・・・東京の事務所で会う坂牛氏と、小さな田舎町の空き家で会う彼は何も変わらない。いつも陽気で、挑戦的である。常に冷静だが、情熱があふれている。稀有な風景を生み出す富士山に見合う街並みをつくりたい・・・郷土を愛する一市民として、念願である。坂牛氏と坂牛研究室、OFDAと共にその仕事ができることは唯一の希望である」「おいおい、マジかよ」と思いつつ目頭が熱くなった。今日、OFDAの社長である配偶者にそのペーパーを見せたら真っ赤な顔をして泣いていた。

という事情もありOFDAは富士吉田支店を開設。本日登記された。

So, OFDA opened a branch in Fujiyoshida. It was registered today.

しらふで人と5時間も喋ったなんて生まれて初めてではなかろうか。ましてコロナ禍の最中である。慣れないことをしたのでへとへとになり帰宅しても配偶者と話す気力が無かった。と言うくらいこちらはまいっているのに、77の坂本一成はかくしゃくとして自作を語り続ける。このパワーにはとてもかなわない。恐れ入る。
