This morning, I went to Japan Women’s University. Climb up the steep slope to Mejirodai named Munatsukizaka. My spouse works hard too.

Hard zoom

On May 30, 2020
by 卓 坂牛

It was an extremely tight zoom schedule today. 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. I went out shopping for dinner in the meantime. I bought chicken thighs, soaked them in white wine, celery leaves, and herbs for half an hour and grilled them with mushrooms. Sauté the celery and asparagus with the garlic—the rest of the day before.

We will have a zoom alumni meeting this weekend. For one of those events, I’ll be showing you a tour of my home and the ten best details, but five are so. Nakagawa-Kun, a staff member, and I thought.

遮光

On May 28, 2020
by 卓 坂牛

There are five windows in the basement. In the summer, direct light comes in from the west-facing windows. Last year, I put up a board and blocked it, but this year I decided to plant a tree in front of the window because it’s ugly. Because the eucalyptus that my spouse asked for arrived, I finished planting it in the evening in the evening shower.

Jun-chan (sister-in-law) came, so we had three servings today. There were a variety of mushrooms, so I made a marinade. I cooked Celery in a salad with cheese. I bought some Mexican beef and made natural roast beef. The food is right again when there are more people.

講評会

On May 26, 2020
by 卓 坂牛
I was invited to the mid-term review meeting of Yasuhara and Hirano studio at the University of Tokyo Graduate School. I reviewed it with Tetsuo Kondo, “A place to work after COVID-19”. A lot of the thinking was an extension of previous new ways of working, such as share and satellite. I felt that it would be nice if there resonated with the profound philosophy of coexistence with others that Corona possesses.
I guess the atmosphere of the critique session is the same as at other universities. It’s like individual esquisse because everyone is off video.

It’s getting hotter, so I’m giving Toneriko a haircut again. Another 30 liters. Now the eucalyptus can get some sunshine.

The day before yesterday, I dedicated to translation work, yesterday to the doctor’s seminar, today to the undergraduate, and the master’s workshop, so I couldn’t go shopping—yesterday’s leftover Spanish omelet, garlicky German potatoes, onion slices, cod roe pasta, etc.

On May 25, 2020
by 卓 坂牛

There is a person who still writes “Ushizaka” in the address of the mail. Is it because the name “Ushizaka” is heard more often than “Sakaushi”? The person who told me that there was a Ushizaka in Azabu was Kido Sanakinagisa, and the person who said to me that there is also a Ushizaka in my neighborhood was Yasui, who lives in my community.
