Fujimiも暖かくなり昼は20度、でも夜は6度。Fujimi has also become warmer, with temperatures reaching 20 degrees during the day and 6 degrees at night.

建築家の書く世界建築の参考にと彰国社のOさんが送ってくれた。度々出てくる建築とインテリアの分離という把握の仕方が大変参考になりました。Ms. O of Shokokusha sent it to me as a reference for world architecture written by architects. I found it very helpful to understand how to understand the separation of architecture and interior, which often comes up.

『建築スタディ発想の方法』と言う本を作っている。50人の建築家に寄稿いただいている。記事のまとめは南風舎の南口さん、編集は学芸出版社の井口さん。装丁はまたも加藤賢策さん。最後の校正が50人の建築家相手に行われている。ccがくるので携帯が鳴りっぱなし。まとまったらあとがきを書く予定。5/25入稿6月には店頭に並びます。是非手に取ってご覧ください。I have edited and written a book called “How to think about architectural studies.” We have received contributions from 50 architects. The article were collected by Mr. Minamiguchi of Nanfusha, and edited by Mr. Iguchi of Gakugei Publishing. The design is again by Kensaku Kato. The final proofreading was done with 50 architects. My phone keeps ringing because I get a cc. I plan to write an afterword when all the articles have been edited. Submitted on 5/25 Will be in stores in June. Please pick it up and take a look.

日系チェコ人、オサム•オカムラの『みんなの都市』はイタリア、ドイツの賞を受賞し、ドイツ語、中国語、韓国語に訳され、待望の日本語訳を辺見さんと私で作り5月15日入稿。装丁はまたもラボラトリーズの加藤賢策さん。4冊目だが、あと2冊お願いしている。これは絵本のように簡単で、学術書より奥が深い。是非皆様店頭に並んだら手に取ってご覧ください。“City for everyone” by Japanese-Czech Osamu Okamura won awards in Italy and Germany, and was translated into German, Chinese, and Korean. Mr. Henmi and I created the long-awaited Japanese translation . And on May 15th we put a manuscript to the printshop. The editorial design is again by Kensaku Kato of Laboratories. This is my 4th book, but I’m asking for 2 more. This is as simple as a picture book, but more profound than an academic book. Everyone, please pick it up and take a look when it’s lined up at the store.
