On April 18, 2024
by 卓 坂牛

I asked my guitar teacher, “Do you ever feel like the guitar is alive?” A story about anthropomorphism. This is the opposite of objectification, which analyzes living things as if they were machines. My guitar teacher treated the guitar as a machine, but I often empathized with the violin and felt it was a living thing. Wölflin’s architectural psychology is architecture personified.
Kinji Imanishi believes that all living things and things have the same origin, so they are all related. However, the distance is different. I’m thinking of making this distance map. Architecture and guitars must be quite similar to humans.

JIA MAGAZINE

Starting from the April 2024 issue, JIA MAGAZINE will feature the opening interview titled “Housing as a Concentrated Expression of Architecture.” Based on the idea that a home contains the essence of an architect, we will introduce works that are a “concentrated expression” of that architect.
For the first time, we visited Taketo Shimohigoshi home.
This is Taku Sakaushi’s first attempt at making a video. The camera I used was Canon Power Shot V10. Please have a look.

Shin-dai Sakaushi ken has about 50 graduates. When I told them I was going to do a seminar, 40% of them said they would go. There are probably about 200 TUS graduates. I haven’t asked them yet, but I’m sure about 30% will come. I’ll probably be friends with about 80 people for the rest of my life. If we hold an exhibition every year, in order to be able to present it once every five years, we would have to be able to exhibit 16 works each time. Will Ayumi Gallery accommodate them?

I set up a bookrest. If you place a book on a desk with a height of 860 cm and read a book on a chair with a height of 450 cm, your neck bones will grow vertically. never tired. Recommended.

I received an email asking if I could accept the use of a text from my book for a university entrance exam. Please understand that due to the nature of the matter, consent is required after the fact. Of course I agreed, but there were some mistakes that I had to correct in the recent reprint. I hope it’s not being used, but…
