Z世代アメリカ
アメリカが世界の警察だと言うことがうまく理解できなかった。アメリカは例外だと言う考え方があったと知り理解できた。そしてZ世代は例外主義を否定していると聞いて安心した。
I had a hard time understanding that America is the world’s police force. I learned that there was an idea that America is an exception, and I understood it. And I was relieved to hear that Gen Z rejects exceptionalism.
教えない
教師は人にものを教えることが仕事だと思っている人が多い、会社の偉い人は指導者であることが仕事だと思っている。しかしそれは昔の話である。教師も上司も学生や部下から能力を引き出すのが仕事なのである。いまだに昔の気持ちでいる人が結構いるけれど、それでは人は育たない。
Many people think that teachers’ job is to teach others, and high-ranking people in companies think that their job is to be leaders. But that is a story from the past. It is the job of both teachers and superiors to draw out the abilities of students and subordinates. There are still many people who still have the same feelings as before, but people don’t grow that way.
卒計
卒計の内容を聞いていると、風が吹けば桶屋が儲かるみたいな説明がどきどきある。風が吹いて桶屋が儲かる確率はなん%と聞きたくなる。コンセプトと作るモノの距離が遠過ぎるのだ。コンセプトは自律的かつ他律的てわあれ。When I listened to the details of the graduation project plan, I kept hearing explanations like how the cooper shop would make a profit if the wind blows. I want to ask what the probability is that the cooper shop will make a profit if the wind blows. The distance between the concept and the product is too far. The concept should be both autonomous and heteronomous.
