加藤耕一さんと書く次の中公新書は『建築の歴史』だった。しかし編集会議に出された企画書は、胡さん（私の編集者）が勝手にタイトルを書き換えた。新しいタイトルは『世界建築史』。胡さんよくあるんだよなあ。無断でこっちのハードル上げるんだよなあ。中東欧、南アメリカ、中国、アラブ、どこにどうくみこむか？The next Chukoshinsho I will write with Koichi Kato was “History of Architecture.” However, Mr. Ko (my editor) changed the title of the proposal submitted to the editorial meeting without my permission. The new title is “World Architecture History”. Mr. Ko dose this often. He is raising the bar for me without permission. Central and Eastern Europe, South America, China, the Arab world, where should we fit in?
Van Hongoさんはアントワープのファッションデザイナー。高校の後輩で早稲田の古谷研で平瀬さんと同期で卒計でファションショーやったツワモノ。アントワープ王立アカデミーで学び直した。年に一度作品持って来日する。今日明日やってるのをFBで見て授業後寄った。いやー素敵なニットあり。Van Hongo is a fashion designer from Antwerp. She was a high school junior, at Waseda University’s Furuya Lab, and was a classmate of Mr. Hirase. She was an energetic person who did a fashion show for her graduation project. She went back to study at the Antwerp Royal Academy. She comes to Japan once a year with her works. I saw on FB that she is doing it today and tomorrow and stopped by after class. Yes, there are some nice knits.

Thank you everyone for coming. There wasn’t enough champagne. It was a fun day with good weather and no snow.
